Eclectic and acoustic musician, composer, Yan Vagh devotes himself to composition, concerts in which he plays his own music, as well as the records he regularly releases. Choir conductor, his practice invites him to question that of the conductor with regard to the notions of leadership and collective energy. Through his deep and intimate knowledge of music, he invites us to draw inspiration from musicians and composers (Stravinsky, Coltrane). It helps us to better experience the link between individual performance and collective performance, sensitivity and technique, rigor and improvisation.
